A Legacy of Success

Afc Kairat, Kazakhstan, is one of the most successful football clubs in the country. Founded in 1954, the club has won 12 Kazakh Premier League titles, 10 Kazakh Cups, and 2 Kazakh Super Cups. Kairat has also represented Kazakhstan in continental competitions, reaching the group stage of the UEFA Champions League in 2019.

Dinmukhambet Suleimenov

One of the most famous players to ever play for Afc Kairat is Dinmukhambet Suleimenov. Suleimenov was a member of the Soviet Union national team and was named the Kazakh SSR Footballer of the Year in 1987. He played for Kairat from 1978 to 1989 and scored 102 goals in 308 appearances. Suleimenov was a key member of the Kairat team that won the Soviet Top League in 1987. After his playing career, Suleimenov coached Kairat and the Kazakhstan national team.
