Irkutsk's "Baikal-Energiya" hockey club kicked off the new season of the Russian Bandy Super League with a resounding 11:2 victory over the "Volga" team from Ulyanovsk. The match took place on September 23, 2023, at the Rekord Stadium in Irkutsk.

The hosts seized the initiative from the opening minutes and quickly took the lead. By the end of the first half, "Baikal-Energiya" had built up a comfortable 6:0 advantage. The second half saw the Irkutsk team continue to dominate, scoring another five unanswered goals.

Hat-Trick by Evgeny Ivanushkin
