China gypsum flower intercepted in the Amur Region
Sanitary and quarantine control experts of the Rosselkhoznadzor revealed a violation of phytosanitary rules
In the course of phytosanitary control, plant quarantine inspectors of the Amur Region URRFS of the Rosselkhoznadzor at the Nizheleninskoye automobile checkpoint reviewed a consignment of gypsum flower (Gypsophila paniculata L.) from China weighing 2.5 tons.
During the inspection, a violation of phytosanitary quarantine legislation was detected: there was no marking on the packages with information on the country of origin, the producer, the name of the product, and the quantity. In addition, the cargo was not accompanied by phytosanitary documents indicating its phytosanitary status.
The cargo was returned to China
According to the results of the inspection, the plant products were not allowed to enter the territory of the Russian Federation. In order to prevent the introduction and spread of quarantine objects, the consignment was returned to the exporter.
