Gears of War: E-Day brings the familiar voices of Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago

The upcoming Gears of War: E-Day will feature the voices of Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago, the two main protagonists in the Gears of War trilogy.

Rod Fergusson, the head of The Coalition, confirmed the news on Twitter, saying that "it wouldn't be Gears without them."

Fenix and Santiago are voiced by John DiMaggio and Carlos Ferro, respectively. DiMaggio is a veteran voice actor who has also voiced Bender in Futurama and Jake the Dog in Adventure Time. Ferro is a Mexican actor who has appeared in films such as Babel and Elysium.

Gears of War: E-Day is a prequel to the original Gears of War game, taking place on the day of the Locust invasion of Sera. Marcus Fenix, who is 19 and under the command of his father, Colonel Victor Hoffman, is one of the only survivors of the initial attack by the Locust Horde that destroys Jacinto. Fenix and his fellow COG soldiers are sent to Timgad to secure a sonic resonator that can be used to destroy the Locust.

The game will be released on October 11 for Xbox Game Pass and PC.
