From Humble Beginnings to MLB Success

Hailing from Willemstad, Curacao, Ketel Marte embarked on his baseball journey at a young age. Inspired by his father, a former minor league player, Marte honed his skills on the streets of his hometown. His exceptional talent caught the attention of scouts, and in 2010, he signed with the Seattle Mariners as an international free agent.

Meteoric Rise Through the Minor Leagues
