Florists of the Amur region expect a strong demand for fresh flowers on March 8 and announced deliveries from China
The Khabarovsk customs post recorded an increase in the import of floral products. In February 2023, 5.3 thousand fresh cut flowers arrived in the Amur region from China, which is three times more than in the same period last year.
In total, 22 consignments of flowers from China were registered. Most of the consignments (15) were received by a resident of Blagoveshchensk. The total weight of the delivered flowers amounted to 766.3 tons. The Khabarovsk customs post issued 22 permits for the release of goods for domestic consumption.
Florists of the Amur region are preparing for increased demand on the eve of the main spring holiday - International Women's Day. According to entrepreneurs, this year most orders are expected for tulips, chrysanthemums and roses.
