Las Palmas had Raul Navas sent off on the hour mark after he was shown a second yellow card for a foul on Isi Palazon, but Rayo were unable to make their numerical advantage count.

The draw leaves Rayo in 11th place in the LaLiga standings, while Las Palmas remain in 19th place.

Rayo Vallecano started the game brightly and created a number of chances in the opening stages.
