Lecce and Empoli played out a 1-1 draw in Serie A on Sunday, with both teams sharing the points at the Stadio Via del Mare.

However, Empoli leveled the scores just before half-time through Liam Henderson, who converted from the penalty spot after being brought down by Lecce goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone.

Empoli had a great chance to win the game in the 85th minute, but substitute Andrea Pinamonti fired wide from a good position.
