The Boyles Fire in Clearlake has exploded to 300 acres and destroyed five structures, according to Cal Fire. The fire, which started around 1:30 p.m. near Boyles Avenue and Lakeshore Drive, is now threatening homes and businesses in the area.
About 30 structures have been damaged.
