Man Enters Bank with a Gun in the Samara Region
Police say they are searching for a man who entered a bank in the Samara region with a gun.
On July 12, a man entered a Sberbank branch in the city of Tolyatti just before 10 a.m., wielding what appeared to be a gun, police said.
The suspect, described by police as tall and wearing a dark shirt and jeans, demanded money from employees, Samara police said in a statement.
The employees did not comply with the suspect’s demands, police said, and the man fled the scene without taking any money or harming anyone.
Surveillance footage captured the man's image as he entered the bank and demanded money.
Police released the footage in the hope that the public can help them identify the man.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact the Samara Police Department at (846)-278-15-23.
