The 76ers showed more energy in the second half, cutting the Clippers' lead to just two points with less than five minutes remaining in the game. However, Philadelphia was unable to complete the comeback, as the Clippers made their free throws down the stretch to secure the victory.

Harden, Embiid Lead Scoring for Struggling 76ers

James Harden led the 76ers with 28 points, while Joel Embiid added 26 points. Tyrese Maxey also chipped in with 21 points off the bench.

Despite their strong individual performances, the 76ers were unable to overcome their poor shooting night. Philadelphia shot just 42.2% from the field and 25% from three-point range for the game.

Leonard, George Combine for 53 Points to Pace Clippers

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George led the Clippers with 27 and 26 points, respectively. The duo combined to shoot 19-of-39 from the field and 6-of-15 from three-point range.

The Clippers also received solid contributions from Nicolas Batum and Ivica Zubac. Batum finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Zubac added 10 points and 12 rebounds.

76ers Look to End Losing Streak Against Celtics

The 76ers will look to end their losing streak on Friday night when they host the Boston Celtics at the Wells Fargo Center.

The Celtics are one of the hottest teams in the NBA, having won 11 of their last 12 games. Philadelphia will need to play a much better game if they want to avoid their fifth straight loss.
