Garcia stated that they knew Rungvisai was a tough opponent, but they did not expect him to be as aggressive as he was. Garcia said, “He (Rungvisai) came out like a bull. He was throwing punches from the opening bell. We had to adjust our game plan on the fly.”
Impressive Performance From Rodriguez
Despite the unexpected aggression from Rungvisai, Rodriguez was able to weather the storm and eventually take control of the fight. Garcia praised his fighter's performance, saying, “Jesse showed a lot of heart and determination in this fight. He never gave up, even when he was getting hit hard. He kept fighting back and eventually got the win.”
Garcia: "We're Ready For Anyone"
With the win over Rungvisai, Rodriguez has now positioned himself as a major player in the super flyweight division. Garcia is confident that his fighter can compete with anyone in the division. Garcia said, “We're ready for anyone. We're not afraid of any challenges. We'll take on anyone who wants to fight us.”

Garcia is hoping that Rodriguez's victory over Rungvisai will lead to bigger and better opportunities for his fighter. Garcia said, “We want the big fights. We want to fight for a world title. We believe that Jesse is ready for that level of competition.”
